Teaser for Sawyer Mountain ‘1-minute hike’

After watching this teaser trailer, I hope you’re excited about the Sawyer Mountain One-Minute Hike. I’ll post it on Tuesday.

Seth Koenig currently writes about the Portland are for the Bangor Daily News, and you might know him from his blog, Seth in the City. When I said I’d be traveling down south to hike, he was eager to tag along on a hike and watch me climb trees — that sort of thing. If I had any fears of Seth cranking down the fun factor of my expedition, they were quickly dispelled when he insisted we were following the footsteps of dinosaurs.

I know Seth probably comes off as a pretty serious guy in his blog, as he writes about politics and crime and education, but this is what happens to people when they are thrown in the woods – they get a little goofy. They have a little fun. They become awesome. I hope you enjoy this side of my fellow BDN writer.

Our full adventure will be posted on Tuesday, Jan. 31.

Disclaimer: I admire people who have the knowledge to track animals accurately, and I would like to learn the skill from a few professionals some day. That said, Seth and I have no tracking skills. This is not a helpful film on tracking animals. We’re just being weird. Feel free to identify the dinosaur tracks in the comments below.

There are no actual dinosaurs in the woods of Limerick, Maine — that I know of.
