On Saturday, Derek and I purchased cross-country skis, boots and poles as late Christmas presents to each other; and on Sunday, we took them for spin. See if you recognize these Bangor area ski trails by viewing the photos below. Leave your best guesses in the comment section at the bottom of the page.
As always, the winner gets a high five and a mention in the updated post. And if you’re interested in learning about cross-country ski trails (as well as snowshoeing trails) in the Bangor area, stay tuned for tomorrow’s “1-minute ski” video and trail description.
For readers who have followed the “1-minute hike” series, don’t worry. I’ll continue to write about hiking trails, but I’ll be adding ski trails to the mix. And in the spring, I plan to check out some canoeing/kayaking “trails.” It’s all about outdoor adventure!
